Common but not
normal.
I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to be caffeinating, supplementing and prescription drugging my way to peak physical and mental performance.
I thought that was the norm. Little espresso here, Vitamin B injection there, Calm magnesium powder here…
On the afternoon of January 6th, 2021 I had my first meniere’s with vestibular migraine attack. In the coming months I couldn’t write my birthdate much less drive a car. For someone who had carved a wonderful life rooted in independence and my mental faculties, this was the worst thing I could imagine. I’d lost my freedom.
I saw every specialist in every discipline.
I was assigned a long list of diagnosis including hypothyroidism, atypical and vestibular migraine, eustachian tube disfunction, rear slope uneven hearing loss, the list goes on and by the time the prescription was written to manage Meneire’s, I’d gone from 0 to 8 daily pharmaceuticals and 10-15 skull injections a month.
The art of
unlearning.
I’m a mom. I grew an entire human while going about my daily life. It did not make sense that this same body could not regenerate itself. I could build a
brand new baby thyroid but not heal my own?! There had to be something else.
I discovered Regenerative Health. I joined a cohort, the same one I now teach. I unlearned a lifetime of misinformation I’d been taught in my studies of nutrition and wellness and got more answers and solutions than my doctors never offered. I learned not just how to reverse my current symptoms and turn my bloodwork from a page of red to green, but how to help myself and family forever. It became abundantly clear: No one is going coming to save us (quite the opposite). You are the one you’ve been waiting for.
Journey to
Regeneration
I drove full force into regenerative medicine, not to treat but to cleanse and restore my terrain. I could not believe this information hadn’t been offered to me in my year of work with both alternative and western medicine doctors. I immersed myself in school and become a Regenerative Health Practitioner, Detox Specialist and Clinical Iridologist. Post graduation I continue with the advanced alumni program learning and working closely with our community of practitioners each week.
